Aim:  

To familiarise participants with the child protection procedures and the implications for practice.  This briefing is suitable for anyone who works with children/young people and/or their parents/carers.

Objectives:

  • To raise awareness of the child protection procedures
  • To raise awareness of new procedures which have been introduced in response to legislation and Government guidance
  • To understand how these procedures will affect practice
