Chaired by George Eddon, Principal Lawyer (Children) the Contact Point Shielding Panel meets to review the requests by professionals that the identities of individual children should remain shielded on the Contact Point data base. The Panel has representatives at a senior level from different member agencies of the LSCB. The children remain anonymous to the Panel which follows the criteria as outlined in the Contact Point protocols.
