To raise awareness of MARACs (multi agency risk assessment conferences) and MAPPA (multi agency public protection arrangements) and how they link into safeguarding children.
Objectives
- To provide an overview of the MARAC process
- To raise awareness of the new risk identification checklist and the referral process to MARAC
- To provide an overview of the MAPPA process
- To understand how these processes link into child protection
