New Local Safeguarding Partnerships

The merging of the Children Safeguarding Strategy Groups (CSSGs), Local Safeguarding Adults Groups (LSAGs) and the non-operational element of the Local Delivery Team (LDT) meetings to Local Safeguarding Partnerships will be taking place come autumn 2019.

In anticipation of this, collectively we (North Yorkshire Safeguarding Children Board, North Yorkshire Safeguarding Adult Board & North Yorkshire Community Safety Partnership) are seeking expressions of interest from professionals across the safeguarding sector (Children, Adult and CSP services) in order to appoint to the following two roles for each local area:

  • Facilitator (Chair)
  • Deputy Facilitator (Vice-Chair)  

Expressions of interest are welcomed both from those professionals who are currently chair / vice-chair of the existing safeguarding groups and those who have not held one of these roles previously.

Detailed information is provided below on what each role will consist of, alongside a draft terms of reference for the Local Safeguarding Partnerships:
