Professionals Consultation Line Extended in the East of North Yorkshire

The Multi- Agency Screening Team (MAST) Consultation Line has been trialling over the past three months, initial feedback from callers has been positive with the majority of users finding the calls helpful to aide decision making on next steps around children and families interventions.

On average, the consolation line was called twice per day across the three months. After analysing all of the information we are recommending the trial should be extended by a further three months to facilitate a better understanding of need in area which would enable more informed decision making about whether the consultation line should be made available to the whole county.

We would like to take the opportunity to encourage those working in the EAST of the county to continue to use the consultation line for advice and guidance (01609 535070). Safeguarding concerns and referral should continue to be made using the online referral form or via telephone (01609 780780) should you concern be immediate.
