Working Together Understanding the Process - Part 2 of 2
Level 2 - One day
This is the second part of a two day training course with Working Together Understanding Abuse. Both days must be completed to obtain full Level 2 training so delegates should submit a booking form for each part. The training dates for Part One, which must be completed first, can be found in the available courses list.
Target Group
All staff working directly with children and young people particularly those who will be involved in case conferences.
Aim
To give participants a comprehensive understanding of the nature and impact of roles and responsibilities within the child protection system to ensure effective multi agency work.
Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants should be able to:
- Accomplish core tasks together to safeguard and promote children's welfare.
- Have a clear understanding of the assessment and decision making process.
- Understand your role and contribution to child protection conferences and core groups.
- Have a sound understanding of principles and processes for effective collaboration.
- Understand the contribution made by others to safeguarding children and the impact of one’s own decisions and actions on others.
