The Application Process
Applications
All courses are multi agency and places will be confirmed in writing four weeks prior to commencement of the course. We need to ensure that there is a good mix of participants from different agencies therefore decisions regarding who has a place on a course are not made until near the date of the actual training course. Application forms can be completed and sent online as well as by post or fax.
Cancellations
Courses are free of charge but places are limited. With this in mind if you are unable to attend a course for any reason we require written/email notification of cancellations or charges may apply. It is important to inform sarah.miller@northyorks.gov.uk or phone 01609 535188. Certificates will be provided for all our courses and conferences. Please ensure that application forms are completed clearly.
Venues and Times
Courses will be held across the county in a range of venues, it is important that you apply for course in your area of work as an important aspect of interagency training is the opportunity to network and understand what’s happening in your area.
Unless otherwise stated, full day courses will run 9.30 to 4.30.
