To update knowledge of relevant child protection legislation, guidance, issues and processes.
Objectives:
- Provide an overview of recent development in the field of child protection and safeguarding
- Look at relevant changes within all key LSCB organisations that will impact upon child protection
- To note relevant legislation, procedures and consultations in place that impact upon the work of practitioners
- To inform about the data protection and information sharing arrangements in the county
