Aim:

The aim of the course is to inform practitioners of the requirements of the Data Protection Act and how it can be used to share information around child protection and child welfare.

Objectives: 

By the end of the course participants will have: 

  • A basic understanding of Data Protection and how it relates to child protection and child welfare
  • A clear understanding of public interest
  • Knowledge about the difference between information and consent
