Aims:
To enable participants to understand the effects of domestic abuse on children and young people.
To provide an overview of the roles and responsibilities of agencies involved with safeguarding of children.
Objectives:
By the end of the training participants should be able to:
- Consider Domestic Abuse as a possible factor where there are concerns about child abuse
- Identify the effect of Domestic Abuse on children of all ages
- Understand how children are dranw into voilent situations
- Recognise and understand the roles of different agencies in responding to and working with children and young people living in abusive situations
