Level 3: Serious Case Reviews - Briefing Sessions (half day)

Aim:

The aim of the session is to inform staff of the recent Serious Case Reviews undertaken by North Yorkshire and the lessons learned from the reviews. The session will also provide an update on national lessons learnt from Ofsted and from Biennial Analyses of Serious Case Reviews.

Objectives:

By the end of the training participants should be able to:

• Have a greater understanding of the issues raised in local Serious Case Reviews
• Ensure that learning from these cases is transferred into practice
• Inform participants of current requirements for Serious Case Reviews
