If you are worried about a child you should contact Children's Social Care through the local Customer Relation Unit or the Emergency Duty Team.
All calls about any concerns you may have for a child are taken seriously and in confidence. Your name will not be given to anyone else without your permission.
Children's Social Care will ask you for information such as the child's name and address: this will help them to deal with it quickly. They will also ask you to explain why you are worried so that they can get a good understanding of your concerns.
You can speak to someone at one of the following numbers but, if possible, please contact the area in which the child lives.
Open Monday to Thursday 08.30am to 8.00pm; Friday 09.00am to 5.00pm.
