Useful Links

  • www.familyfinding.org – The Family Finding model seeks to build or maintain the youth’s Lifetime Family Support network for all youth who are disconnected or at risk of disconnection through placement outside of their home and community. The process identifies relatives and other supportive adults, estranged from or unknown to the child, especially those who are willing to become permanent connections for him/her.
  • www.signsofsafety.net – The Signs of Safety® is an innovative, strengths-based, safety-organised approach to child protection casework. The model of its approach was created in Western Australia by Andrew Turnell and Steve Edwards, who worked with over 150 front-line statutory practitioners and based it on what those practitioners know works well with difficult cases.
  • www.knowledgebank.signsofsafety.net – Website dedicated to resources for signs of safety.
