Children Society #LookCloser Campaign

This week NYSCP are joining the National Police Chiefs Council, British Transport Police alongside the Children Society in asking the public to #LookCloser in relation to Child Exploitation. Exploitation can happen anywhere to a child including in public spaces like bus stations, fast food outlets, shopping centres and hotels. Children and young people who are being exploited may not always appear vulnerable or act the way we might expect victims should. If something doesn’t feel right, it may not be. Collectively we can safeguard more young people if we all know what to look out for and how to report concerns to the Police. To learn more about the #LookCloser Campaign, please go here

For more information about how to report concerns to North Yorkshire Police through our Partnership Information Sharing Form, please visit our One Minute Guide on our website by clicking here, or if you are worried that a child is in danger please ring 101 or 999 if it is an emergency.
