Updated Addendum to School Child Protection Policy

An updated addendum to the school sample child protection policy has been released. The update reflects school’s wider reopening arrangements for safeguarding and child protection. This update replaces the previous Addendum released in April 2020. NYSCP Home Environment Assessment Tool (HEAT)

We are pleased to launch the NYSCP Home Environment Assessment Tool (HEAT) and practitioner guidance. The assessment will support practitioners in identifying risks within the family home where actions can taken to address those risks to improve home conditions and safety for children.
